Doctors & Staff

Meet the experienced and friendly doctor and staff who make Nipomo Optometry a proud provider of vision care products and services in Nipomo.

Dr. Ben Palmer, O.D.

Dr. Palmer completed his bachelor’s degree in biology at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and received his doctorate of optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry. His training has provided him expertise in many eye diseases such as: glaucoma, diabetes, cataracts, macular degeneration, and dry eye disease.  Also, Dr. Palmer specializes in contact lenses, pediatric eye exams, and eye emergencies. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, and Tri-County Optometric Association, for which he’s served as president for 2016-2017. He and his team take great pride in providing new technology and thorough education to their patients. We look forward to meeting you!

Cindy, who is an ABO Certified Optician, joined our team in 2015 and has 36 years’ experience in the optical field.  She has worked with contact lenses, the manufacturing process of glasses, and customer service. She is proud to be a third generation native to the central coast and a mother of three and grandmother of two. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting, gardening, and being a “parent” to her Boston Terrier, Zoey.
